Parent Support Zoom Group

Many years ago, in working with a group of parents and their children, it became apparent the support and direction, parents with special needs can fill for one another.  Parents with children on Many parents with children, of any age with special needs, face very different struggles and dilemmas that their peers with neuro-typical children face. They often find themselves isolated, alone in their struggles, or not knowing where to turn for the help they need.

Back Mountain Music Therapy will provide for parents who have children, of any age, a safe space to find direction and support. This opportunity is open to any parent or guardian of a child with needs to find the support they need in the sanctity of their own home through zoom. Regardless of age or whether you are a patron of the Back Mountain Music Therapy Clinic or not, it is the privilege of BMMT to provide this service for you.

This is not a space to market for Music Therapy, nor any other service. It is a free service to provide for any parent finding themself needing support, direction, education, or a place to express frustration. Back Mountain Music Therapy will provide the space and opportunity, the ethical boundaries to keep all its participants safe to express or be. However, the hope is that you can hear, empathize, support, and provide direction for one another in a manner only parents can.

There are no commitments to this group. A monthly zoom link will be provided to anyone who might like to utilize this space. Our first meeting will occur on Thursday, June 3rd at 7:00 PM. You may attend when it is convenient for you, no commitments needed. Here is the zoom link below:

Hi,

I thought I would mention that it looks like the word “completeion” is spelled incorrectly on your website. I’ve seen some tools to help with problems like this such as SpellAlert.com or WebsiteChecker.com. I just thought you should know!
